Christine Kwok is the founder of Balanced Strength, Inc., a fitness and wellness consulting organization specializing in providing creative and comprehensive fitness and wellness programs to corporations, individuals, and the community-at-large. She has more than fifteen years of experience in fitness, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of California at Davis, a MBA in Health Care Management from University of Phoenix, is a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and educator of other fitness professionals as a Master Trainer for the International Sports Conditioning Association (ISCA). Christine specializes in corrective exercise and post-rehabilitation programming for competitive athletes and weekend warriors.
In addition to teaching fitness education workshops on Personal Training, Mat Pilates, Sports Conditioning and Kickboxing, Christine has worked as program coordinator and director, wellness coordinator, event planner, and health educator for prominent organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, Lululemon Athletica, Game Show Network and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Her most recent interest in and concern over the lack of health & fitness education for pregnant moms in this "neo-baby boom" spurred her to write Pre- and Post-Natal Training Workshops for fitness professionals and for mothers. She has taught workshops for hundreds of fitness professionals and weekend warriors. Christine's ongoing studies of the latest developments in health and well-being enable her to provide clients and the fitness training community with the most up-to-date fitness programming and education.
Christine designs specific programs for her clients using a variety of settings: the office, traditional gym, track, parks, and the beaches and streets of Santa Monica. Because of her passion to see clients succeed, she finds the best place to maximize results based on her clients' needs, abilities, and motivators at the same time stretching each to reach their physical potential.
